Employee of the Year - Accounting
ELIGIBILITY
Entries should be submitted by their employer and should include a commendation from a senior leader within their organisation.
* To strengthen your entry, you may wish to include an endorsement from your CEO
* Where possible the impact should be demonstrated by evidence available publicly, e.g. social media or Glassdoor.
For entrants from Practice please attach evidence of nominee's professional qualification as a chartered accountant (i.e. third-party affirmation or copy of the certificate). Qualifications from the following professional accounting bodies are accepted: ACCA, ICAEW, ICAS, CIMA, CIPFA, CIoT.
Judging Criteria
The judges will be looking for clear information backed up by facts that pay particular attention to the criteria listed below.
- Professionalism: outline the Evidence of professional conduct and performance
- Measurable Success: outline the facts of quantifiable performance improvements and personal excellence and how success was recorded and measured.
- Innovation: Please include details of any unique efforts or uses of technology introduced by the individual that has successfully improved the performance of their team or the organisation as a whole Demonstrating the innovation encouraging positive change
- Role Model: Demonstration of how the candidate is a positive role model
- Quality of service: Outline how the individual exceeded expectations through their work.
- Teamwork: Outline how the individual has contributed to the success of their team, and displayed commitment, enthusiasm and flexibility in the role.
- Impact: What makes this individual stand out from colleagues? Outline their achievements to date, summarising their contribution to the growth and success of the organisation.
- Please include a testimonial from the individual’s head of department or supervisor where possible.
QUALITATIVE CRITERIA
The judges will be looking for evidence of:
- Leadership or team work with illustrative examples
- An outline of a specific initiative with details of how the nominee is driving and, or contributing
- Helping and supporting others
- Academic or mentoring success
- A stand-out performance that particularly merits this award – the ‘extra mile’ factor
METRICS
- Total revenue (firm)
- Total revenue (under partner's control)
- Number of clients (under partner's control)
- Percentage of recurring number (under partner's control)
- Number of new clients (under partner's control)
- Total number of staff under management (under partner's control)
ADDITIONAL CRITERIA
They will be judged on all round ability - not only academic and work related achievements - but also their enthusiasm for your organisation and construction as an industry.
